A fully customized Magid study helped a major online video site to prove the effectiveness of its advertising
Online video usage has grown exponentially over the past few years, and the trend has given credence to ad-supported business models. To measure the effectiveness of a large advertising campaign on a major online video site, we designed a rigorous pre-/post-survey that measured numerous aspects of the campaign as well as general attitudes toward advertising in the online video space.
The results were overwhelmingly positive, showing strong favorable effects and a great fit between advertiser and the client Web site. Thus, the client generated a great advertising success story that justified an individual advertiser's investment and can also be used in general PR/ad sales material.
